1) Expect to be respected! Don't settle for less.
2) Don't send mixed signals. Dress modestly and fashionable.
3) Don't leave your brain at home. Date with your brain! Your brain is you compass - morally and to reach your goals. Don't be manipulated!
4) Is that movie you are about to see supportive of chastity? How about that party? Make sure your activities aren't going to spoil the chastity plan. Attend these functions but reserve the right to leave if they don't measure up to your standards.
5) Trust your parents! They are your backup is the date turns sour! Reach out to them, they have been with you from the beginning. Parents may get loud but they love you!
6) Remember you may be dating someone else's spouse. One day you all may meet in public, is that a situation you will welcome or avoid?
7) Don't be afraid to cancel! If the date doesn't measure up to your standards, don't go! Go with friends instead or stay home. Better to change the plans and risk one night at home than to suffer the consequences of being used - remember we want to look back on this and smile, not remember while in the line of the pharmacy for a prescription to treat a disease filled with regret.
